QuantumCoin is a Layer-1 quantum resistant blockchain with smart contracts support. Quantum Coin uses NIST standardized post quantum cryptography algorithms for securing the blockchain. Quantum Computers make Bitcoin, Ethereum vulnerable, since they are able to break the cryptography used in these blockchains using Shor's algorithm. Quantum Coin blockchain is resistant to these quantum computer attacks. Quantum Coin also uses post quantum cryprography in hybrid mode, which means that it is also resistant to classical computer attacks. Read more in the quantum resistance whitepaper.

Quantum Coin Improvement Proposals

Introduction

Quantum Coin is a community driven project. All visions and projects are aspirational. There is no value attributed to anything. All projects are community driven and there is no guarantee of delivery.

Quantum Coin aspires to solve real work problems such as education, healthcare, clean water and clean energy.

Quantum Coin is a combination of decentralized networks, smart contracts, and decentralized apps (dapps), that form the backbone of this decentralization initiative. The backbone of Quantum Coin is a quantum resistant blockchain with proof-of-stake consensus. Quantum Coin would secure the world’s largest three blockchains from quantum computers by multi-forking Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin blockchains and DogeP tokens. The vision paper details the various decentralization initiatives such as Satellite chains.

Quantum Coin is not intended to be, or to be the subject of, an investment opportunity, investment contract, or security of any type.

Quantum Coin was previously known under the moniker Doge Protocol.
