Quantum Coin

Welcome to QuantumCoin. Get familiar with the QuantumCoin blockchain platform and its ecosystem.

Information

QuantumCoin is a Layer-1 quantum-resistant blockchain with smart contracts support, combining ML-DSA (FIPS 204) and SLH-DSA (FIPS 205) for signatures, and ML-KEM (FIPS 203) for secure node-to-node key establishment. Quantum Coin uses NIST standardized post-quantum cryptography in hybrid mode. Quantum computers make traditional blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum vulnerable because they can break elliptic curve cryptography using Shor's algorithm. Quantum Coin is specifically engineered to resist these quantum attacks by adopting the finalized NIST standards, ensuring long-term security against both classical and quantum adversaries. Technical verification is available in the quantum resistance whitepaper (PDF), quantum resistance overview, and the open-source Quantum Coin Go node implementation.

QuantumCoin's consensus layer is a deposit-weighted BFT protocol with four message phases (Proposal, Acknowledgment, Precommit, Commit) that provides immediate deterministic finality for every block, tolerating Byzantine faults comprising strictly less than one-third of the committee's effective deposit. A per-block committee of up to 128 validators is selected from an unbounded registered set; safety holds regardless of network timing and liveness is guaranteed under partial synchrony. Full protocol details are available in the consensus whitepaper (PDF).

Introduction

Quantum Coin is a community driven project. All visions and projects are aspirational. There is no value attributed to anything. All projects are community driven and there is no guarantee of delivery.

Quantum Coin aspires to solve real work problems such as education, healthcare, clean water and clean energy.

Quantum Coin is a combination of decentralized networks, smart contracts, and decentralized apps (dapps), that form the backbone of this decentralization initiative. The backbone of Quantum Coin is a quantum resistant blockchain with proof-of-stake consensus. Quantum Coin would secure the world's largest three blockchains from quantum computers by multi-forking Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin blockchains and DogeP tokens. The vision paper details the various decentralization initiatives such as Satellite chains.

Quantum Coin is not intended to be, or to be the subject of, an investment opportunity, investment contract, or security of any type.
